Event Rules

• Default settings.

• All OPTION settings are default settings except for the following settings -- Pause Menu on Long Hold ON.

• 2/3 Rounds per Game.

• 2/3 Games per Set.

• 3/5 Games for Top 8 finals.

• Winner of previous game must keep same character.

• Loser of previous game may switch character.

• Random stage select (players may opt for an agreed stage).

• Training Room stage is banned from Tournament Play.

• Dynamic control type is banned.

• In-battle Accessibility Settings may be turned ON if the Tournament Organizer deems that the setting is physically necessary.
  
  
  

Tournament Rules

While the Fighting Game Tournaments are part of Pittsburgh Gaming Expo 2024, and to enter there is a mandatory purchase of badge. There is an additional $5.00 buy-in PER GAME that is required to enter these specific Fighting Game Tournaments.

• Entrants must follow the PGX Code of Conduct

• Entrants under the age of 18 MUST be accompanies by an adult or legal guardian to qualify for prizes.

• Registration for tournaments will close 5 minutes prior to the start of the bracket, and check-in will begin at that time.

• Entrants will be asked for a phone number at check-in. This phone number will be used to notify you via text that your match is up. It will not be used by Pittsburgh Gaming Expo for anything else.

• From the moment you are notified of your game via text, you will have 5 minutes to report for your game. After five minutes have passed, you will be disqualified from the entire bracket.

• Due to compatibility issues and in the interest of keeping the tournaments moving at an acceptable pace, legacy controllers will not be allowed at the event unless they have been modded with a Brooks adapter or other device that allows them to work natively with Playstation 4 or Playstation 5 systems.
