We're bringing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to PGX, open to anyone with a controller and a pulse. Come to win, to test yourself, or just because you haven't played with real people in longer than you'd like to admit.

Your Badge Is Worth More Than You Think

Hold onto that PGX badge. It's worth 20% off at Goat Gamers Lounge through December 31, 2026, on PC gaming, console gaming, VR, and eligible memberships. PGX ends in a weekend. Your community doesn’t have to.

The Tournament

For three days we have three brackets and three shots at a prize pool. We will have open brackets all three days to qualify for the tournaments below. Early matches may start ahead of schedule depending on turnout. Every day is its own tournament with its own bracket and its own prize pool. Show up once or show up all three days. Every entry is a clean shot at the pool.

  • Friday, October 2: Featured Tournament 8 PM to 10 PM
  • Saturday, October 3: Featured Tournament 2 PM to 5 PM
  • Sunday, October 4: Featured Tournament 1 PM to 5 PM

What's On the Line

Entry is $1 per player, per tournament. 100% of the tournament entry fees go into the prize pool. All money not paid out to Hourly and Premier Bracket winners will be put towards the Champions Bracket. A valid PGX 2026 badge gets you in.

  • Hourly Brackets: 1st — $5
  • Premier Brackets: 1st — $15 | 2nd — $10
  • Champions Bracket ($100+): 1st — 50% | 2nd — 25% | 3rd — 15% | 4th — 10%

The Rules of Engagement

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. 1v1 singles. Double elimination. 3 stocks, 7 minutes, items off, hazards off, final smash off. Every character is fair game. Best of 3, with later rounds pushing to best of 5 depending on time and turnout. Staff may adjust brackets to keep things moving.

Get In the Bracket

Register at the Goat Gamers Lounge booth at PGX, then check in and pay your $1 at the Goat Gamers Lounge table. Be ready when your match is called. Show up late, and your spot is forfeit. You are welcomed to join as many brackets as you like for a chance to win.

Note: Bring your own controller. We'll have a limited stock of Joy-Cons, GameCube controllers, and adapters, but your own gear gives you the edge.
